“Community together” – that’s the message from this brilliantly vibrant new mural at a community centre in #Swansea.
Our local neighbourhood policing team, led by PCSO Ceri Evans, supported the multi-agency project at the The Phoenix Centre in Townhill. 
Encouraging young people to get involved in something positive in their local community, we’re sure you’ll agree that the results are fantastic – transforming the look of the building!
A two day job painting a mural on a wall of The phoenix Centre, with workshops for members of the community to contribute to the painting and designing process.
Themes included football, community, youth together, local library, rainbows, the phoenix centre logo and young peoples designs…And a heart by the high sheriff!
It’s another fabulous example of what can happen when different organisations and people within the community come together to create something to benefit everyone. 
The South Wales Police Youth Trust funded the mural. This charity supports local community projects and helps divert young people from crime, antisocial behaviour, and substance misuse.
