To celebrate the Green Hwb’s grand opening, Kirsten from Gower College Swansea asked Fresh Creative to create a mural showcasing local flora and fauna. We drew inspiration from the vibrant colours of our earlier ‘Keep The Mount Pleasant’ project to capture the area’s natural beauty.
Phil meticulously selected a range of strong, vibrant colours that would bring the mural to life. The vivid colours made the mural visually striking and highlighted the rich variety of plant life in the area.
For the lettering, we employed a traditional pounce pattern technique. This method transferred the design onto the wall using tiny perforations, creating a precise, crisp outline for the text.
The letters stood out sharply against the vibrant green background, adding a touch of classic artistry to the modern mural.
Gower College Swansea welcomed special guest Iolo Williams, a well-known environmental advocate and TV personality, to the launch. He toured the facilities and spoke with students about environmental issues. The Green Hwb’s opening, celebrated with the mural, Iolo’s visit, and strong community involvement, marks a key milestone in growing environmental awareness and education in Swansea.
