Artist @munched1993, with confident and capable help from Mrs. Rowling’s Year 3 class, painted this intergalactic mural at Mayals Primary.
The ideas for the mural came from a creative session with the class where they were asked to think about what was important to them about the school and were they lived. The aliens are an important part of the school ethos and are clearly loved by the kids there.
The story goes that they arrived at the school after crash landing on the school playing fields. The mural gives an insight into their arrival, and what they got up to after they came down to earth at Mayals. Such a lovely place to work, thanks to all the kids and staff!
